Caterham has turned to cyberspace to design its next model – the low-volume carmaker is calling on fans around the world to log onto a bespoke website to submit their ideas and designs for every aspect of the new Caterham, before ultimately voting on what makes it to the final vehicle. The website – www.splitwheel.com - will act as a forum, hosting blogs, articles and what Caterham calls ‘a Wikipedia-style user-edited knowledge base’ to turn user input into a workable vehicle design. A comprehensive voting system that covers all aspects of the car will then be initiated, and once the final specification is agreed a prototype will be produced with initial production slated for 2011.
A NEW SYSTEM of grading driving instructors will help learner drivers choose the best possible tutor. The new system awards driving instructors a simple A or B grade or a fail should their ability not meet the required standard. All qualified driving instructors have their standards of teaching checked at least once every four years to ensure they deliver the right training to new drivers.

The new Nissan Murano was teased a few weeks ago by Nissan and now, ahead of its public debut at the New York Auto Show, Nissan has revealed the new Murano properly. With a striking similarity to the Nissan Resonance SUV concept we saw in Detroit in 2013, the new Murano get boomerang headlights and a floating roof, a big chrome grill, rounded wheel arches and a rising waistline that makes it look more purposeful. Inside, the new Murano is more appealing and upmarket with a lower instrument panel with 7″ Drive Assist Display, fewer buttons, Climate, heated steering wheel, electric folding back seats and a lounge feel.
